Top 10 Travel Essentials

Whether you are a seasoned traveller or you’re going on your first holiday, packing can be incredibly overwhelming at times and we all need tips; so we’ve put together 10 items you should never travel to a warm destination without. We hope this helps!

  1. A Small Suitcase or Backpack

To keep a spare change of clothes and your essentials for your first day at your holiday destination JUST incase your baggage gets delayed or lost in transit, you can also fit in your laptop, magazines and travel snacks without having to fill up space in your handbag.

  1. Travel Friendly Hat

Hats are essential for protecting your skin from the sun. Dad caps or fedoras are portable enough to fit in your suitcase or to wear in – transit and foldable big straw hats tend stay in shape even in checked in luggage.

  1. A day to night bag

Combine the forces of a beach straw bag with the style of an evening bag for one you can carry throughout your entire trip, a cross-body bag is the perfect choice!

  1. Comfortable Shoes

Approach your shoes almost like your day-to-evening bag: one item you can wear all day. A pair that can handle a walking tour, without getting stuck in cobblestones on streets but also works for lunch at a swanky cafe.

  1. A Portable Charger

Is there anything worse than having a dead phone in a foreign country? Those Snapchat stories won’t record themselves! Avoid a dead phone with a power bank that fits in your pocket.

  1. Sunglasses

If there’s ever a time to wear sunglasses, it’s on vacation. Try a classic pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers in tortoiseshell or funky pair colored mirrored Linda Farrows.

  1. Travel Wallet

No matter your destination, separate your dollars from your euros and pesos with a wallet. It’s slim enough to fit everywhere and has four separate compartments that will help you keep track of your dinero.

  1. Hand Sanitizer

Tourist Attractions. Public Toilets. Restaurants. Need we say more?

  1. Sun Cream/Block

Sunblock can double as a pre/post beach salve and is light enough to wear even if you’re not spending the day in the surf.

  1. Headphones/ Camera

Say no to pixilation and document your holiday with a digital camera and a pair of noise cancelling headphones is always useful for when you’re in transit.
